Does this footage look familiar to anyone? I mean I wish A.I. well, but he got just as teary in Memphis.

I dont believe AI was ever emotional at the Grizz press conference. if he was its becuase he was actually on the Grizz. They know what they wanted (attention) and they got it for a little bit. Success. And AI didnt want to be the only person getting this attention but at the same time be sitting behind a scrub. So he left and now went back to a team and city he loves with all his heart. sounds good. I dont care if he came off an injury, he was upset because he had a coach who never wanted him, and in my opinion, was extremely mad that AI was there in first place. He showed it from day 1. Coach Hollins ego was bigger than AI’s.
The Grizzlies...
Are saying that the team trainers said that A.I. was only allowed to play 15 minutes a game, a rule Hollins broke to play him extra in every single game A.I. played in.
I mean I don’t like Hollins either, but it’s not like he mistreated A.I. The guy was still injured. If A.I. was healthy he would have gotten his time; even rusty Jamaal Tinsley has been playing more minutes than Conley lately.
And in Memphis he never cried, but he did get pretty emotional.

OJ Mayo is not a scrub – he is our new franchise player. AI was signed to a one year deal to come in and be a man.
he decided instead to be a coward and selfish and only cared of himself.
OJ Mayo is going to be in this league many years down the road as potentially a very good player – maybe not as good as AI in 2001 – but certainly will be here far longer than AI NOW. AI won’t even be playing after this Christmas. Let’s make a bet
