GameThread: Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies
Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies, Mar 16, 2010 7:00 PM CDT
While the Grizzlies might not have a great shot at the playoffs, there's no point in giving up now. The Chicago Bulls probably should be motivated, but they've lost seven straight and are going to be missing Derrick Rose, Kirk Hinrich, Luol Deng, and Joakim Noah.
So the team who wants to win it more shouldn't really count. The Bulls might field one of the worst starting lineups in the NBA's history tonight with Jannero Pargo, Flip Murray, James Johnson, Taj Gibson, and Brad Miller's names likely to be called out first.
Look for a big win tonight, and watch to see how Ronnie Brewer's imminent return shuffles the bench minutes. The subs should see a lot of time in this one.

Oof!
The alley-oop to Thabeet that almost was. Totally fouled on the play, Hollins earns a harmless tech, and even the totally one-sided Chicago announcers conceded that he got fouled on the play. No respect for our D-League callup.
P.S. OJ’s jumper is wet tonight.

Win column is all that matters at the final buzzer, a win is a win.

More 4th quarter foolishness.
You almost expected it to happen after we went up 20 and he just left the subs in.

Ok
so they got the Thabeet alley-oop to go in on the third try. On accident, because Thabeet didn’t actually catch the ball – it bounced off his hands into the bucket. Can’t make this up.

Hak Attack just killed us...
Remember how we could still have him instead of Iverson? I might never forget…

I was just thinking the same thing
About how a quality bench player was our biggest need this season (could have added a few wins at least) and how we cut Hak. I heard folks at FEF booing when he was hitting shots, but no one in Memphis should boo Hak as he actually wanted to be with the team and we cut him without warning.
