Need a Memphis Grizzlies perspective on this trade idea for Melo
Hello all, I am as you can most likely tell, a Nuggets fan, and with the likelihood that Melo will be traded, I came up with my own that involves Memphis in a two team trade, below is a link the the trade proposal.

The Trade? Well Denver gives you guys Melo and J.R Smith, our two best offensive players per minute, in exchange for Mayo, Zbo and Haddadi. So you can mess around with Melo and Gay in your lineup and who will play the 4 spot, you will have a dynamic duo regardless for 50 points a night. You also get J.R Smith who plays very similar to O.J Mayo, just a bit more athletic with the downside of being a bit of a headcase. You will automatically become playoff contenders with Melo and Gay shooting light outs against every team in the league and Gasol coming into his own. You will be a 50+ win team and if the season works very well for you then Melo can sign a big contract with you guys at the end of the season.
So what do you think?

I don't see Memphis trading for a guy like Melo...
Because they know that he’ll never re-up with an extension to stay here. Also, two max contract small forwards is probably less than fiscally responsible.
Honestly, Chauncey Billups is probably a much better fit.

great trade
I actually suggested the same trade because ZBO and Melo are both in the final years of their huge contracts. Obviously what TEAM USA is doign in the Worlds right now shows that small ball can rule. I might even start Melo at the 4. Rudy Gay has played the 4 many times though and he really was not all that bad. If Thabeet gets his head out of his ass we could experiment with Marc at the 4 but frankly I rather just watch Grizzlies go small and score a ton of points and just have fun for a year.
I doubt we will resign ZBO and if we do we are going to overpay so it’s a good idea to me.
But just because he has done it quite a few times
doesn’t mean it’s ideal. I took a few looks at his stats at SF, PF, and C, and it aint pretty.

Terribad trade
JR is a chump and so is Melo.
Melo will never win a championship unless he is carrying someone elses bags. Plus he would never want to be in Memphis and would turn into an even worse cry-baby.
Take your trade proposals over to the knicks or something. Me lois terribly overrated in my books.
