Grizzlies Turn Sights on Dante Cunningham and Marresse Speights

Naturally, the Grizzlies are looking for more size now that Darrell Arthur (Achilles) is done for the season.

Cunningham, who is a restricted free agent, would provide help down low defensively, but isn't much of an offensive threat.

Speights, on the other hand, can be a potent offensive threat in the paint, but he's not nearly the defensive presence that Cunningham is.

So, here we are, Grizzlies fans. Offense vs. Defense. Who you got?

Defense....

Always go with the defense, Cunningham will provide a bit off offense it’s not like he won’t have any opportunities to get a couple points here and there. We all know Z-Bo isn’t a defensive minded player so it would help to be able to have a guy we can throw in to help with the Dirk, Black Griffin, and the Pau Gasol types. I would like to believe Selby and Mayo will supply enough offense off the bench to keep the team in games or maintain leads thru-out the game. Defense sir, it wins championships.
