Grizzlies Waive Skinner, On Verge of Brining Back Haddadi

Some minor news here, though a part of me is pretty happy about the prospect of the Grizz bringing back Hamed Haddadi.

I have to say, though, I'm not too surprised about the team cutting ties with Skinner.

Skinner will be picked up by someone. My guess is a group of guys in a competitive eating league. I like bringing Hamed back. He knows the system, so he should be ready to contribute right away, and he plays really well in Euro leagues and what not, just needs to get a better understanding for the NBA rules. Plus, fans love him.

It was a particularly small egg...thats why I asked.

Why didn’t they bring him back in the first place? I know he had some Visa issues early on.

Skinner was awful so I’m glad for this move. Plus as bad as Haddadi is, he still won’t be taking threes like Davis did the other night.
