They're back!!!! After a five year hiatus, the Memphis Grizzlies find themselves back in the playoff chase

Right now the Grizzlies are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Over the past two months the Grizzlies have been 18-9, have won seven of their last ten in the month of February. And they beat some of the top competition in the league during this twenty seven game stretch. Memphis shocked the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers beating them on their home court, the Staples Center by 19 points (1/2). Despite the Lakers shooting better than them at .465, Memphis held LA down to just 85 points. Two weeks later, they would do the same thing to the Dallas Mavericks, holding Dallas, one of the best offensive teams in the league, to 70 points and .324 shooting. The Grizzlies also won big in the clutch against the league’s best as well. They beat the Orlando Magic by just three points (1/31) and won on the road in overtime against the Oklahoma City Thunder (2/8). Beating big name teams such as LA, Dallas, Orlando, and Oklahoma City shows that this young high flying team have started to mature and become more grounded.
