Grizzlies Meet & Greet 6/18/11

10AM on Saturday untill 1PM there will be a meet & greet event at the FedEx Forum. There will be at least one Grizzlies player there. Check out your upcoming seats (or prospective seats), tour the locker room and take some shots on the court.
This event is to try and get more season ticket buyers. I received an email about it and they said that they would validate our parking there.

The meet & Greet was a great time. Xavier Henry was there to sign autographs and have pictures taken with him. He was extremely polite and very warm towards the crowd. I asked him how his knee was doing and he said “just fine”. Hopefully that wasn’t just his generic answer to what I’m sure is an often asked question. He could play a big part on this team if he stays healthy from here on out. My thrill of the day was talking with the best P.A. announcer in the NBA, Rick Trotter. His voice is a perfect fit with the Grizzlies, and I love his style. My wife took a picture of us, and that one will go on the wall. Thanks Rick.

Grizzlies game + Beale Street = a perfect night.

Wish I could have been there. It’s these sort of things I always end up at without a camera and then I hate myself for the rest of the day as each photo opportunity passes by… mental pictures are.just.not.the.same. So good shout on bringing the camera!
