Xavier Henry Poised To Come Back 'Better and Stronger'

It is a bit exciting to think that we're adding Rudy Gay plus Xavier Henry and Josh Sleby to a team who was one win away from the WCF.

Here is a bit of what Henry had to say about his return next season, per the great Ronald Tillery:

"The injury kind of took away from the (rookie) experience," [Henry] said. "But I'm ready to get back in shape and start playing again. ... My family did a good job of keeping me level-headed. I just kept having faith that everything happens for a reason. I'll be back. I'll be back better and stronger."

I geniunely believe that X can turn into a really good player.

Admittedly, this is coming from the guy who has Xavier’s rookie picture as his avatar.

I think that X will be able to replicate the leap that Darrell did after his injury-ridden second year; we won’t see his peak, but I think that he will be MUCH improved. Sam Young was great, but X is a better shooter and healthy should be able to be Sam Young + a long ball threat.
