Josh Selby putting in Summer work
Sure you've all seen the video circulating around of Josh Selby putting in work this summer in Baltimore, playing against Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks. Josh went off for a sexy 48 points, including one glorious dunk that reportedly sent a man in the audience home in an ambulance. Oh he wasn't hurt... just in SHOCK at the awesomeness that was Mr. Selby.

One complaint: If Brandon Jennings can wear his authentic Bucks shorts to a pro am then Josh can at least break out the yellow headband. Come on Josh, represent the Grizz in an understated but powerful way, the yellow headband my friend! The yellow headband.

I wouldn't mind seeing Selby in the D-league for a couple of months.
I’m not bashing him, but lets face it. There will be little contribution from him for awhile. He could build his game there instead of sitting on the Grizzlies bench. Also, there is a log jam in Memphis with guards right now. Selby getting 40 minutes a game in the D-league for a couple of months and then coming up early next year could be a big payoff come next May. He has great potential but needs some work to adjust his game for this level. With a good head on his shoulders he can be a top notch player for the Grizzlies.
Grizzlies game + Beale Street = a perfect night.
