Wolves stuff to notice:

Nikola Pekovic is a solid offensive center who’s just gotten his NBA legs. It’ll be fun to see if he can handle the exemplary, efficient Marc Gasol.

Beasley’s never gotten his offense going this year, the only real exception being a game against Houston where he got Courtney Lee as a matchup and abused him.

Minnesota’s wings are abysmal on most nights. We run with Luke Ridnour as a SG, Barea behind him…. At the wing you have Wes Johnson. Er, excuse me, we wish you had Wesley Johnson. The way Tony Allen gives teams headaches, he gives the Wolves’ wing rotation migraines. Rudy Gay is in another zip code from the Timberwolves SF stable. Watch Beasley try to chase him.
